Breast cancer has surpassed lung cancer, in terms of being the most diagnosed cancer. According to the World Health Organization report, 2.3 million women globally were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 alone (1).

Breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide. It is the major cause of cancer-related deaths in most countries including the US. It is estimated that there is one breast cancer case detected every 14 seconds in the world.
