In the confirmatory Keynote 522 trial : Pembrolizumab added to Neoadjuvant chemotherapy significantly improved PCR , EFS for early-stage Triple Negative Breast Cancer and was subsequently approved by FDA in July 2021 for high-risk early stage TNBC with chemotherapy as neoadjuvant treatment and then to be continued as single agent adjuvant treatment after surgery.
